CATS and COWS

Valerie D'ortona creates art that is colorful and joyful. When you see one of her paintings, you can't help but smile. Cows and cats drive cars, read books, and wear clothes, among other things. She paints other critters, including humans, but the cats and cows are the stars, especially the cow Isabel. Isabel, as Valerie tells it, is "THE cow, the muse-mother" of all her paintings. Isabel's World has expanded from paintings to books, authored and illustrated by Valerie. The books, also colorful and joyful, tell stories that are deep and meaningful.
