Early Homo sapiens meditates and falls into a time warp. He
sees behind him in time a dinosaur in a hot land with a volcano dominating the
sky. Ahead in time he sees a snowy landscape with a bridge over an icy river, a
small figure of a human standing near a snowbank and a road that leads to a
small cluster of houses in the distance, the volcano faded away. He looks, and
he realizes how impermanent are life and geology.
